Altar Workers
We assist in ministering to those persons who come forward for prayer.
Communion Workers
We prepare and assist in ministering to those persons who take communion.
Baptism Ministry
We prepare and assist candidates for water baptism.
EDUCATION MINISTRIES
Sunday school
We provide classes for all ages to study the Word of God before the Morning Worship.
Children’s Church
We provides care for children during the Morning Worship Service.
Scholarship
We provide monetary gifts for those students who graduation from high school and college.
OTHER MINISTRIES
Greeters Ministry
This ministry greets, directs and provides information to the members and guests of each worship service and at other special events.
Hospitality Ministry
We coordinate and provide refreshments for Saint Mary’s functions.
Intercessory Prayer
Here workers stand in the gap for the Body of Christ. The goal of intercessors prayer is to pray for individuals and nations, effect change and achieve victories so people develop an intimate relationship with God and live the abundant life they deserve. Prayer warriors pray on site or in their home during a designated time slot.
Marriage Ministry
The marriage ministry team is passionate about making sure that marriages stay healthy and thriving at Saint Mary Church of God in Christ! Activities are scheduled throughout the year so that couples can connect with other couples and learn how to stay married for life.
Media Ministry
We are responsible for all media production, including directing, graphics, audio, camera operations, stage managing, cable pulling, video control, videotape operation and duplications.
Men’s Ministry
We want to provide tools for men to love Jesus at home, work, in their communities and at church so they can take a credible next step to becoming a whole-hearted follower of Christ. We also want to provide an opportunity for men to create a strong bond of brotherhood and unity to enhance their spiritual growth.
Music and Arts Ministries
The mission of the music ministry is to lead the congregation of Saint Mary’s in praise and worship of God the Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is also the mission of Saint Mary’s Music Department to present the highest level of excellence in music that is attainable.
Mass Choir
The mission of the Mass choir is to coordinate adults and youth who minister the Word of God through song.
Ensemble
This group consist of a few committed adults committed to minister the Word of God through song weekly.
Men’s Choir
The men choir consist of individuals committed to ministering the Word of God through song.
Youth Choir
This group is responsible for coordinating the youth who minister the Word of God through song.
Children’s Choir
Drama Ministry consist of individuals committed to evangelizing the lost and edifying the Body of Christ through skits, dramatic productions, and videos.
Praise Dancers
Dance Ministry consists of skilled and anointed individuals who minister periodically during worship services and special events.
New Members Ministry
A class is provided to inform new members about Saint Mary Church of God in Christ Ministry. This also provides information about our mission, beliefs and values.
Outreach Ministry
We give back to the community with free food and opportunities for fun for the children to play in bounce houses and have fun. Local outreach is focused on partnering with Christian organizations serving our community. We go into the community to minister to individuals in the surrounding communities and provide information about Saint Mary Church of God in Christ. We also support the International Church of God in Christ World-wide Missions Ministry with monetary gifts.
GED Classes
Classes are offered to help individuals to receive their GED certificates.
Prison Ministry
We minister to the needs of the incarcerated, ex-offenders, and provide support to their families.
Security & Traffic Control Ministry
We ensure the traffic flow during Saint Mary’s services and special events and provides security for the property.
Single Ministry
The single ministry edifies, educates, and provides insight for unmarried Christians in the development of their Christian walk and personal relationship with God.
Transportation Ministry
We are responsible for transportation to and from the sanctuary for worship services and special events.
Ushers Ministry
We are responsible for maintaining order in the sanctuary and surrounding meeting places, assisting during church services and special events at Saint Mary’s.
Women’s Ministry
Develop deeper intimacy with Christ while connecting with women who love freely and deeply through Bible studies, conferences and gatherings.
Youth Ministry
We are excited to partner with you to help your child become a wholehearted follower of Christ. The Youth ministry supports the vision of Saint Mary Church of God in Christ by teaching the Word of God to children on their developmental level.
